From Dark to Light...

Here are the befores of our dark and dingy now bright and cheery rec room. Although a fight as to what the room would actually be used for, I think we made a wonderful compromise (see the afters in the other post).

It will be the fun room and eventually we will add a bar...no pool table, but there will be lots of games watched on our new tv :)! Enjoy!

Not a "rec" anymore!

So we're much further along in our rec room! No more dark wood! We are so excited how it has turned out. There is still a lot to do, but we're getting there. Here is the current state :)!


I'll post the before pictures soon, but let me tell you. It's come a VERY long way...

One thing we have to do, is cover that hideous A/C unit that is living in the center of the wall. We have some ideas, so we'll see how it turns out...stay tuned!

Paneling, paneling go away...

Here are the before's of our wonderful paneled room! I think they went a little overboard. I love brown and all, but whew! It was floor to ceiling brown!

Well, we've worked hard and the office is FINALLY together.
